Someone on TFW has identified the S2000 text as Arcee whilst the ram's text as Convoy, the colour on the whole ram looks like it's off somehow, plus some preorders say it'll be normal colours, just with diecast parts. either way i might consider getting Arcee so my alt wildrider custom can become BT.

decepticharge as Arcee....... I would have got for a Wild Rider no question but arcee=skip

 

as for convoy wtf bright green if it has new parts I might look into it

Im not sure if you guys know/read this but these are going to be "downsized" from the normal 1/24th scale, in turn, you probably wont be able to kitbash them with your alts/BTs.

 

IMO i think that its better to have a die cast BT "downsized" then a regular sized PLASTIC BT. And since most of us know that the price in the (zinc i think it is, although cant be sure) has brought up the die cast considerably higher. So it makes sense why this is.

 

Although it would be cool to get a die cast convoy in regular colors rather then a repaint. AND these will most likely fit in with the dlxs more. Or "main line"

Crazy colours = Alternators G2 Redux. I'll pass until they actually start to give the fans what they want. Trailbreaker, Ironhide & Ratchet are just a few ridiculously easy repaints that fans have been clammering on about for years now. Why are they holding out on us?

Ha, me neither. Mine fit juuuuuuusssssst barely (and that is leaving out a few of the dups like Yellow Tracks, Blue Prowl, etc).

 

I might pick up Arcee b/c I like that mold and it kinda works, but green Prime/Springer/Longhaul/Movie Ratchet/whateverthatis, I doubt I will spend the money. I was a completist w/ this line, but I am just not interested in uninspired, crappy recolors of the same characters even. Oh well, save $150-$200.

Nope, it says "something convoy" on the scan of him. Translated by someone on TFW from Japan. I believe it will be a die cast convoy in regular colors, it would make sense. Plus smaller.

Okay, this is the first I've heard of any "downsizing" and I'd really like to know what your sources are on this, because it sounds like 200% BS to me. No offense to you - not trying to flame here - but the cost of COMPLETELY retooling a mold down to a smaller scale would greatly outweigh whatever they might save in zinc, especially when they could just cast the molds they already have in plastic.
