So I've been thinking about Animated Prime.

Recommended Posts

Any one get the feeling that Hasbro and CN have two separate takes on the character? It's like Hasbro wanted Prime to be a futuristic semi-truck with a personality similar to G1 Prime, while CN wanted him to be a fire truck and act like a socially awkward, by-the-book rookie cop. Just compare the Toy Bio to how Prime acts in the cartoon, and how the toy and the animation model have completely different vehicle modes. It's like Hasbro wanted him to be closer to G1 Prime while CN wanted to give the character a little more originality.

If it was just the bios, that wouldn't be a problem. However, the animation model is almost a completely different design from the toy itself.

The animation model only differs when Prime arrives on scene already in alt. mode. Anytime he goes from robot to vehicle in the show, he matches the Voyager toy (minus it's ax accessory) completely.

When have toy bios EVER matched the damn cartoons, are you new or something?

Starting with starscream in G1 continuing all the way to unicron trilogy (was it landmine or scavenger that tought optimus his fighting skills) and the movie (was it hardtop or megatron that killed the shït out of bumblebee's voice).

I hardly think making a tread about one single bio is worth it.

And like said by someone earlier in this tread,he only looks different from the toy when he enters the battle, the rest of the fight he's pretty damn accurate. We also have yet to see leader prime (we've seen two deluxes,a voyager, and the supreme "roll-out" version.) he might have a full fledged trailer.

I guess you missed the million-page discussion on Jazz returning in TF2 because of a toy bio. :tflaugh

And even then the only difference is the trailer.

Well, if the toy bio is differing from the CN depiction of Animated Prime...more power to CN.

I'm tired of OMG PERFECT PRIME OMG
