What may happen in the future cannot be our focus right now. Summer is quickly coming to a close and the Holiday Season will soon be upon us. We have some great plans underway for Fall. And we are counting on each of you to make this Holiday Season successful.

 

All of us are passionate about this business and we all take pride in what we do. The holidays are the best time to showcase that passion and pride and to put it to work for the good and benefit of our guest.

 

In the months ahead, we will take appropriate steps to create a stronger foundation for the global toy business and an independent and successful Babies "R" Us. We are still one company, and together we must continue providing the service and value our guests expect.

 

Remember - our success depends on what we do, not what the media says about our business.

 

Together we provide the joy of discovery and play to children. We can help expectant parents feel more confident during this exciting times in their lives. These are rewarding accomplishments we are fortunate to experience at the holidays and throughout the year.

 

If you have any concerns or questions, please talk to me or another member of our management team. We need you to be "in the game" as we get ready for the Holiday Season. Although we a relimited in what we know and can share about the future, we will do our best to answer your questions.
