Ok, so what brand of model kit is this? Is it just a Nissan Vannete?

It's actually a resin casting of a Nitto brand Sunny Vannette Highbox 1/24 scale kit from around 1983. I have the original kit but they are so hard to find that I couldn't bring myself to cut it up just yet.

Hah, I could just put something like this :guh on the windshield as a sticker. That's good enough right? Don't let Valkfan know, or else I'll be the one without a head.

As far as Skids goes, I have to say that this Alt has been the single most useful mold in recreating G1 characters. I think it's the telescoping knee/leg joints that I find so useful. The arms & shoulders are also handy. Not the best looking dude as bought, but there's tons of KB potential there.

So IH is mostly painted up. I'll post pics later this week of the final jammy.

Jaf,

I've been outta the loop for while.

dang it does look pretty good!

looks like the mold required alot of bondo and sanding.

otherwise pretty darn impressive. the headlights you used? what where they?

and just blue styrene for the windows?

great job

JAF, I can't stay focussed enough as it is and you through this into my stream of consciousness. Now I'm making sketches. :redface

He's mighty impressive!
