Sari's Totally a Robot!

Recommended Posts

She's had birthdays... she was affected by the organics-killing effect of Blackarachnia using the Allspark key... the Autobots thought that she was the "pet" of her robot dog when they first met her... Sumdac's robots are all drones because Cybertronian tech requires a spark for true sentience... Prowl sensed a spark in the Dinobots but not in Sari... Megatron's spark is obviously intact as it had been resting in his body all this time... I could go on. At this point the only option left if you want to keep at this is "she's a cyborg". Which would mean she's still a human being, and would be as much of "a robot" as a guy who's had hip replacement surgery.

Hey, at TFW they're coming up with acronyms for what "S.A.R.I." could mean.

You know darn well the writers could do what ever they want with Sari at any moment. I love watching the interview with the BW writers where the guy says, "Man. We got so lucky that the stories we wrote tied in so well with G1. At the end, things looked like we planned out the whole story to come out the way it did making us look like geniuses when we just did everything after the fact and got lucky."

How could Sari be a robot, exactly? She would be more advanced then anything Sumdac ever built, or by all accounts, more advanced then anything he's capable of building.

Coupled with LM's post above, I don't see how she could be a robot.

IMO Sumdac was going to tell her she was adopted. We know she was, but it hasn't been mentioned in the show so far. And it would make for an interesting plot twist.

since he founnd meghead when he was young, couldn't he , with help, made her? not that i think she's a robot, i just like stiring the pot.

i totally agree with you but her having birthdays is a weak argument to your point

Well if she's had one birthday then it stands to reason she's had others. Which means she ages (also shown in Along Came a Spider). And robots don't age.

How old's your car? You may not celebrate the anniversary of its creation, but everything ages.

Perhaps "age" was the wrong word. I meant "grow."

Okay, she's a cyborg then. Techno-Organic.

But a birthday is not a celebration of physical growth...I think Pete's probably right, but the birthday thing is pretty weak.
