this seller: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Doufacebs-Hobby also has the new metroplex KO too...

I hate how things such as these figures are so bloody expensive! I really want them both... but I wouldn't pay more than £35 / $70 incl' P+P for them... unless of course they were genuine E-Hobby releases or something...

I see the price of KO Swoop is gradually coming down... maybe I can hope for the same thing to happen to these a few years down the line... does anyone reckon they will keep their value in the long run?

Interesting. Thanks for heads up! That Metroplex is really tempting. The only deterrent is that he'd be a place holder until I got an original, and then it'd just be a waste of money.

The Metroplex is tempting to get, but when I consider that I can get the real thing for maybe $20 more, I lose interest. At least the clear KO reissues, and stuff like the red Mirage, are different from the original, thus protecting the market and giving a buyer something unusual.

KOs don't count as Transformers! (t'is a legal fact, All Rights Reserved)

hmmm... bootleg metroplex with bootleg box art. do I get my bootleg glow in the bootleg dark bootleg poster?

i'm suprised they've done this without doing a diaclone coloured swoop first.

There is no confirmation on these latest releases as whether they are KOs or not. Perhaps it is time for me to check on my Hasbro contact once again.

They're KO's. Chinese remakes are KO's. They're not licensed officially by either of the two original companies and that makes em KO's in my book.

Like it or not, but Hasbro licensed the Chinese remakes of the minibots and Cyclonus.

Sentinel's a lawyer - tell us, do these legally classify as unlicensed products (re: "KOs")?

^^^who could seriously give a sh*t? Ima call 'em KOs as they're blatently not official Hasbro/Takara reissues, despite using the molds. So long as the figures are nice and so is the price, I don't care who's getting my money... I think there's been too much whining on these forums about the recent flood of Chinese KOs hitting eBay.
