"I take to the skies again......"

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have also been tackling this for a little while, which I finally just finished tonight. This is for my own personal collection and will join the rest of my Binaltech/Alternator/Masterpiece Autobots.

Seeing what has been done before, and there have been some FANTASTIC customs done of this, I wanted to do my own.

Without further ado..........MY MASTERPIECE JETFIRE!!!!!

Enjoy,

-Gregg

Man, I've been thing about doing this, but these cost $100-$150ish don't they?

  • Author

Yes they do........this baby cost me close to $240 USD to make it.-Gregg

Here are some others I just finished recently, or am in the process of finishing up. Full blown galleries for these will come soon! My original Cliffjumper, Hoist & Trailbreaker I sold to deejemon on the boards here. These are all new ones for my own collection. This Cliffjumper was made when I did the commission for Plowking.

I really love that Trailbreaker

These look F*#$ing GREAT!

:pfx

Great job on the Cliffjumper and Hoist heads, and very clean paint on all of them! That's terrific craftsmanship!

What all did it take to make that Jetfire?

  • Author

Well, here's what all it took:

1 ea. 1/48 VF-1A "Roy Fokker" Valkyrie Masterpiece Jet by Yamato

1 ea. FAST Pack Kit

1 ea. 1/100 Perfect Grade Gundam Model Kit "Rick Dom" (for hands and bazooka cannon)

1 ea. of Tamiya Bright Red & Dark Red

1 ea. Tamiya NATO Black Aircraft Spray

3 ea. Tamiya "Insignia White Aitcraft Spray

1 set of Autobot symbols from Reprolabels

I spent cost wise about $275 USD including shipping for all of it. I feel I got my moneys worth out of it as it is going to my own personal collection.
