Just a start for now I'll post more here as I get it scanned and finished (as well as convincing myself to draw again..)

 

This is a preview of the cover pencils I just scanned in. I have to clean it up, add text, some effects, etc. The ad in the first post shows the main character Grae, and on the cover is (working name) Sara.

 

Fantastic Artwork. I'm thoroughly impressed.

You could easily get this published indie-style and use it for a way to branch out into more mainstream if you wanted to pursue it.

Eh, the fact that it's been sitting around for a few years would probably say differently. But thanks. Once I get some of the newer stuff in, you'll see the difference in style.

Wow. Very nice. Are you writing as well?

 

That part about "convincing myself to draw again" really hits home. More than a few years back, I burned all of my artwork. While it was very cathartic at the time, I now have nothing to show for myself. I don't know why we're so hard on ourselves sometimes.

And yeah, I also did the bit of throwing away my entire history of work as well, these were some of the last stuff, I found them in my basement and saw they had been kinda ruined by moisture and some other liquid stuff, so I wanted to scan them in to save them. Thus where we are now.

 

And yeah, I'll be writing it. I have the story in my head..I've just never gotten this far into producing it before.

It's called perspective ya big dummy! :) *kiddin' of course* You'll see once it's inked.

Just updated the cover pic with what I was able to do today..Mind you my photoshopping/finishing skills aren't anything professional, I'm just trying out some stuff.
