Anybody else had the same problem? This is really frustrating. How do i connect it properly?

Massage it until it fits.

I've had this problem with a lot of Alternators, pisses me off till no end. I haven't ever managed to fix a few of them. That's why I stopped buying alts, and focused on the much better Binaltech toys.

 

I've been wanting to pick up Ultimate Bumblebee, now I'm not so sure.

this is another reason why i keep my figures misb... they don't reveal their flaws so easily. After the reviews I've seen and ppl being generally disappointed with their UBBs, I'm kinda glad mine is still boxed as I don't get to experience as much disappointment that way :P

Most of my Transfromers still have those littly dirty plastic parts sticking out .... where they were broken out of the mold (ohw, hope it's clear what I mean) ...

 

I usually take my 'fromers apart and use a knife to cut all those edges and parts smooth ... helped my alt Wheeljack a lot, now the damn hood stays close and the Doors are perfectly in line with the front and the back of the car - without midifying anything ! I just cut off what wasnt supposed to be tehre in the first place.

 

Ultimate Bumblebee costs way too much for poor me, and I hate electronics (I allways take out the batterys first thing after opening the box) and missing hands ... so I can't say for sure if taking it apart helps, but it allways did with all my transformers ;)

make sure the rubber tube is tucked in so that it does not interfere with the snap on hinge & it should fit better...
