or maybe getting a liscencing deal with some of the Le mans cars

What I think they shoud do is make another line of war toys where they could make Starscream and make Decepticons that are closer to their origanal concepts.

not in our life time would they make "pro war" toys..like Autobots vs decepticons is one thing...but realistic war vehicles...no chance in hell

So, are you saying that GI-JOE is having the worst year that they have ever had by making "pro war toys"? I thought these toys were best sellers as well. I think that if Takara/Hasbro were to market the SEEKERS correctly this would be just as hot a seller as the BINALTECH/ALTENATORS line. As Takara started marketing BINALTECH as this name first, all Hasbro would have to do is tweak the name to fit the DECEPTICON and AUTOBOT jets. Something like "TRANSFORMERS SKYLINES" or something to that effect. They can even fit it into the "ALTENATORS" storyline with a little imagination. And who says that "ALTENATORS" definately has to be about cars when the name also suggest that the TRANSFORMERS have "alternate" modes? And for playability as well as for collecting...why would we have to be so set for "scale".

I don't know... I've just always wanted to see my Transformers on the same scale. Seeing the spaceshuttle Blast Off the same size as the jeep Swindle... or seeing one of the Constructicons just as big as an Aerialbot.... it looks so hokey!

:thumb I TOTALLY agree with you 1000% on the comparison between G. I. Joe and military-based Transformers figures. And the fact that half the model kits you see in stores are jets and tanks shows that there can be non-violent "war toys". Perhaps some people are just anti-military these days. John Kerry's wife said recently that the best face America could put forward in war-time was the Peace Corps! What a disrespect to people who lay down their lives fighting the REAL bad guys!
