motorcycles would be cool, wrekgar anyone? as far as hiding things in acurate seekers, everything and i mean everything would have to go into that small middle part of the plain, would be interesting to see though.

you need to think outside the box. scale doesn't matter. buying licences for "real" jets prob won't happen. But after the job they did on RM starscream I think they could make quality jets to stand next to the At/Bt line. and even keep the old colors too, maybe with a little moderm twist.

 

personally I Hate the decepticons cars. But here's hoping for a good counterpart to the fine cars in this line.

lancez you put out a good point :thumb , the seekers don't have to be alt/bt style, just look really good, and a RM Starscream the size of the alts would be perfect..... and then they could do the autobot jets and the story could be about more stolen tech :clap

Even if Hasbro/Takara did consider making Alternators out of the Seekers, I wonder if the companies that make the jets would want their products made into bad guys.

I would like to see jets of some kind. Not like alts, but about the same size. I like the idea of pulling the binaltech story line and justifying the fact they are not liscensed jets by saying the G1 characters have just stolen tech to upgrade their original modes. But since they are doing it on the fly, they don't get to use official products. They could be about 1/60 scale to match up size wise. But I also understand that this conflicts with the general concept of the line and will not happen.

 

I also like Deception cars though, but i wish they would make an original mold. If all the Decepticons in the line are just going to be repaints with minor remolds I would be sorely disappointed. How about an original Starscream mold made out of a super slick race car? How about a Soundwave or Shockwave SUV? And their robot modes would be as similar as possible to their G1 counterparts with the articulation and detail of the BT/ALT line.

 

I know some of these have been redone or referenced in Energon, but i just don't like the chunky designs of that line.

Please, Takara/Hasbro, don't make Starscream into a car.

 

The MP edition concept works well with the Alternators - all we need is a seeker mold for the next one, and we'll be happy.

A little known fact Jets are better than cars.

Yeah, I think the Masterpiece line does compliment the BT/ALT line. But it is beginning to look like Convoy/OP is the only toy in the Masterpiece line. Surely they would have announced something about a Starscream or Megatron by now.

The Masterpiece isn't exactly a "line". It was only meant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Transformers by building the best and most iconic version of Optimus Prime. That's also why they went all the way in making him as show accurate as possible but at the same time be completely transformable. They're also not trying to milk the mold (so far) with its repaints only made as some raffle draw contest in Japan. If we ever see another Masterpiece, it may be five years from now, or to coincide with the movie if it booms in the box office. Still, it doesn't hurt to wish.:tfgrin
