I mean really, with all this G1 homage why not just re-make G1? Hasbro and Takara are certainly going through a lot of trouble to capture that G1 spirit with the toys and such. Why don't they re-make G1 the way it was supposed to be? They could have a new cartoon, based off of Dreamwave's comics. I mean this really seems like a no-brainer to me. There is limitless potential there. They'll never do it though. Why, I couldn't tell you. What do you guys think?

Well, I'd personally have nothing against that idea. I mean the toys are popular and would probably be popular again, but I'm sure there are some good reasons why they won't do that. But who knows :)

*Anxiously waits for Bodycount's response to this topic* :D

maybe thats what the new cybertron series will be (it is cybertron aint it O_O)

I'm not trying to envoke Bodycount's anti-G1ism. They could re-do the toys as well. Make them as articulate as the Energon and Armada stuff is.

BT is a bit remade G1

as are RMs Convoy and Starscream

Boo! I hate DW!!!

Hell Yeah. Thats a very good possibility. Upgrades for the best g1 toys.

You're nuts man!

it would need to be made for more adult viewers like evangleion and gundam under a company like Manga or sunrise as they are doing a good job with title's like ghost in the shell but this is just my little idea

as for animaton style i would like somthing like blood the last vampire dark, smoth moving, and the seeting and props were very acurate(sp)

and the voices would need to be just like G1 for prime and megs the newer actors just dont have the same feel. as for star scream and wreck gar whos actors have passed away i would like to see a sound-a-like if thier is such a thing.

Eric Idel is dead!? :eek
