I think it's a possibility he could show up in Classics 2.0 .. espically with the movie coming out, Hasbro is likely going to want to cash in on the name, if nothing else.

 

I never had the original though.. definetly planning on getting the encore edition when the time comes. I personally really liked Dreamwave's take on Ironhide.. with his windsheild being some kind of battle visor/stat screen deal.

Unfortunately the strategy seems to be working. The Ironhide/Ratchet combo was bad enough, but the kick-ass Seekers I'll never own convinced me that as soon as BotCon is within driving distance I'm going.

And besides, it's not like Botcons go "HEY HASBRO WE'RE DOING THIS SO YOU CAN'T". They ask, Hasbro says either "yes, you can do that", or "no, we're going to do it ourselves later, so don't".

 

It's the reason we didn't get an Botcon Trailbreaker redeco of X-Brawn. Hasbro said they planned to do something down the pipe with it. (This sadly did not come to pass)

this years was the only one that had exclusives i actually wanted. still not worth the cash JMO. i regret not going to botcon when it was in KY, at least that is assuming you don't have to pay the huge 200 + bucks just to attend.
