i like what we've gotten over the years but id like to see more depth and say have the same characters used for more then 1 season with out getting a total new look every year and it looks like TF:animated will be like that given how they have started season 2 all ready

All I want from any cartoon show is for the producers to get their heads out of their butts and just do a damn good job from the beginning: concept, story, script, designs, backgrounds, animation, music, voices.....the works.

G1 is all I want in a cartoon, hands down. I like old style animation, not computer animation! Today the originality is dead.

What I want?

 

Good action without the Transformers constantly having to rely on "super-modes" and other lame weapons which also happen to be toy gimmicks. And you know that is not possible in Japan as the GOT to have super-modes.

 

I also want to see humor which is not seen much in Japanese cartoons.

 

Other than that I am not real picky. :tftongue

The only things I want in a new series are-

 

1. a decent war super mode for Optimus, but not having him constantly rely on it for battle.

2. Having Megatron return to a more decent character out side of the insane I don't care about anything but myself attitude. Make Galvatron a separate character(with his own Decepticon army) trying to destroy Megatron and Prime. Think Revenge on both for Imprisonment or something.

3.Ultra Magnus and Rodimus as Autobot sub commanders.

4. limited combiner groups!

 

No more power linking autobots!

what I want most from a TF cartoon is: sex, violance & carnage of oprotic purportions, animation that would put animé movies like Ghost in The Shell 2 Innocents & Apple Seed the movie, to absolute shame! humor is cool, as long as it takes a fair ammount of intelligence to get the punch line. & women & small childern should be seen dieing extreamly painful deaths. not in every eps mind you, just enough to keep the shock value alive & kicking! oh yeah, & don't let me forget the most important part of all. a totaly wicked plot that leads to no less than TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION! ALL HAIL LORD MEGATRON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want a decent G1 rehash. I want the events of the Movie ignored, and have Season 2 continue, and have characters introduced as time goes on.

As long as there are no moments that make me cringe (like a lot of the children's dialogue in Armada/Cybertron), I'm happy. A coherent story is always nice, too.

I am a total Geewunner and would just love a total remake of the original series with a few new characters thrown in and good old fashioned animation and no CG
