obviously has no experience with the new formats. i have both players and prefer bluray, i can actually utilize 1080p in my setup with the bluray. both formats look great, but the capacity on bluray and the fact that most people i know have or are planning on purchasing a playstation makes me feel like the scales are going to be tipping. also, i admire what bay is trying to do, however, it does seem a little bit immature and drastic. i was going to buy a copy on all three formats, 'cause that's how i roll, but Powerglide.... :roll

Uh.... Where do you get lobby out of owners? It could mean people from sony/whoever, or it could mean three people he knows with Blu-Ray machines. It's inconclusive, and quite frankly getting that conclusion from his statement is foolish.

I wasn't suggesting you save the world rather than have Hi-def, but in terms of the average amount of time/money most people put in to their a/v set up I think I am closer to average with my 36 ' 780i than you are buying the same movie in three damn formats. As for my "misquote" I mearly quoted the two points I was responding to. I appologize if that was unclear.
