I think Target and TRU are much worse transgressors when it comes to Energon Wave 1 stockpiling. I have yet to see a single figure of the late-spring waves (which included Mirage, Demolisher, Arcee and Insecticon) anywhere other than WalMart and KB.

Man Hasbro need to pull their finger out and release the newer lines quicker in the UK. It seems to me the rest of the world is getting all of the lines before we get them and then the lines stop midway, which sucks. Other than that they have improved dramatically the toys are better and a little more inventive in this humble transfans opinion.

I'm still not sold on the idea that Hasbro is getting better. Their customer service is horrible to say the least but hey I'll admit they are showing some signs that they are getting better. But they still have work to do to catch up with the mighty Takara.

Where do I find Takara's Q&A page again?

Hasbro's scooped the proto-thieves on several occasions, probably at least 5 times, through their product previews and Q&A's. Just that recently, they're hoarding all the goodies for OTFCC.

 

Then we have the matters of Armada Skywarp and Energon Magnus, created for the fans.

 

And as far as customer service goes, you also have realize that Hasbro manages a bajillion other toylines as well, the guy on the other end of the phone's not going to know the specifics about one figure to be able to help you.

 

And then there's their QA. They've shown time and time again that they're willing to go back and fix problems that have arisen time and time again. Second version Battle Ravage, better Skyblast spear in Wave 2, Energon Prime faceplate. When's the last time we heard that Takara fixed the problems with the Kicker figure. Oh wait, never?

The problem with "Hasbro suXX, Make Mine Takara" is mostly the neighbor's lawn which is always greener...

I have heard that takara ships cases of the same figs instead of assortments. that may not be a solution but it has got to be better than hasbro's method of inter wave assortment when wave 3 hit, you would see cases with mostly wave 1 a little wave 2 and 1 mirage, and you all know how I feel about Energon Ironhide :P "Hey look everybody my head is on my roof"

Hasbro is getting better but it's a long road yet.

I'd prefer new molds instead of repaints and perhaps a better catalog to keep up. Or perhaps direct buys from hasbro? That way I would not have to wait or miss an item (e-magnus)

I must say that I liked Hasbro before they started listening to us older fans. Because damnit, now that they are I am going poor quick.

If it wasn't for Hasbro, there wouldn't have been any Transformers. Aside from that I think a lot of the evil is done by the stores and not by Hasbro; stockpiling isn't done by the company! Sure Takara is better in some ways, but they have less bots overall and more is expensive.

 

So Hasbro is pretty ok, (almost) regardless of how they're doing.
