The alternator version is black. The original toy was purple.

Looking at my digi now, it might be a bit too pure purple (closer to magenta). I'll probably want to go a bit more wine or burgandy coloured.

I've got a little more work done, but still have quite a bit to do.

Looking a jazz again made me rethink my connection scheme a bit. Jazz holds in place pretty well, but I need to work on the fit of the peice for Barricade. Added a bit of silly putty to hold him for the pics.

I've got the leg bots reversed to how I initially thought I would connect them. Lost their posability potential, but it made the connection simpler. Stability is pretty good, just hope the weight of the arms doesn't affect that too much. The arm connections might not be so easy, but I've got an idea or 2 to explore.

 

Finished painting up Motormaster's head. It sits up a bit high now, but at least it ends up moved forward. (Forgot to take a pic of it in place)

 

And I thought dragstrip needed a bit more horsepower, so I made a couple of additions.

Wow..That's incredible! Very cool idea.

TRU has those Neo-shifters on sale so I picked one up to see what kind of joint-y goodness it had. No ball joints (except stickfas sized ones on the mini figure) but a pretty good collection of other bits for $10. It'd actually make a pretty good base for a proto brawl. But I've grabbed his hip piece and arms to use as neck and shoulders.

 

.At least I know Menasaur can stand under his own weight now. It took a bit of work to get him standing. Joint system will need to be tightened up and a I still have a few other mods to do before I finish up the repaints.

Not a huge update, but I've got my mods for wildrider pretty much done. A few rough edges to clean up, then I can start painting.

 

New pair of hands and a neck ball-joint all barely fit back into alt mode. :clang

Also tried to make up for the fact that baricade has no weapons. But I might have gone a little overboard?

 

Who knows, I might finish this project before next new years. :tflaugh
