The Girl Who Loved Powerglide & my other stuff

Recommended Posts

That was "Seachange." And, well actually, that really WAS a bad episode.

Okay, that's just my humble opinion. ;) And otherwise, you're right. Another example were the two with Tracks and Raoul, (the second included Blaster) and Tracks really shined in those. I tended to like those episodes as well.

When Seaspray turned into a humanoid I cringed. But at least he got an episode all to himself :thumb

And yeah, the blaster/tracks episodes were awesome.

Actually, it was just real entertaining to see how the producers could take some of the wackiest ideas, roll with them, and actually make them work for the better part of 20 minutes.

And then the movie came, along with season 3...

Funny how I just saw that episode a while back anyways nice wish they made a powerglide for classic or the next tf movie

And I thought I was the only person that liked "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide," heart and all.

My favorite quote from that episode was from Soundwave to Megatron when the flying battlestation was falling down onto the Nemesis.

Megatron: Raise the shields!

Soundwave: What shields?

CRASH

The Girl who loved Powerglide is damn funny. SW electrcutes himself at one point.

Nice, well done.

Good work. I don't really like the feet but well, I don't like those of the toy either.

He seems quite shinny too; Maybe the lighting could be ledd white.

I did a commition about that episode.

Here they are:

Seaspray

Alanna

I never seen the episode (I don't really like the G1 cartoon actually. Too dumb for me) So I used the screencaps on Seibertron.com. I would have loved to do the "human" seaspray with robot feet but it wasn't required by the commissionner. Maybe one day...

That Seaspray has to be one of the best illustrations I've ever seen in my entire life. Your style is amazing, definitely unlike any tf art I've seen. I especially like the positioning of the left hand and the left leg, as well as the form of the torso. Oh and the toy-accuracy of your prime is awesome. Do you have any galleries besides DA?

Here's an unfinished attempt at doing Warpath.

I know the barrel should conceal more of his torso, but I just didn't want his upper body to look like it was a giant hole.

I'm still fairly undisciplined when it comes to intricate detailing, but what do you think I should work on in general? I'd serisously appreciate some advice.

Thanks for the compliments ^3^. I only have a DA gallery. do you know any other place ?

As for your drawing, the line is pretty good. I like the idea of the canon pointing to us so it don't disturb the general silhouette. Just that for me the arms are too big. Or the legs too small. Something on the general proportions. But well...it's a very sensible detail.

But for the color, your method seems strange. You use the automatic selection to fill it after ? There is a more simple way by using a layer with the line on in "multiply" mode (not sure since I use 'toshop in french) and then coloring on another layer under this one. Quicker and you won't have white borders.

Also for my taste, your lighting seems too bright. Too white. But that's just my taste.
