looks like you missed the baot on this one so....Ebay

This figure is sold out. I searched google "BT-18 preorder" for about ten minutes and came up with it being sold out everywhere I looked.

Good luck.

Ebay's gonna be your last resort, even e-hobby sold out all three of its pre-orders

and there isn't even a single Ebay listing either. Which means, it will sky rocket in price.

Waht's the story on these? Are they being LIMITED in their edition?? Or is it a matter of patience until the next batch is produced?? I don't have to have it immediately - if another batch is months down the road - i'll wait it out. Anyone know the deal???

Wow, I had no idea this mirage is so sought after. I guess the clear plastic has a hypnotizing effect. Good luck on e-Transufomah!. Hopefully it won't sky-rocket like KISS Rodimus did.

I tried preordering one directly with e-Hobby via DragonX76's instructions, but I got absolutely zero response from neither the order itself nor inquiries into it. I ended up preordering from BBTS even though it was a little more expensive there than it would have come out to shipped from Japan. Here's hoping BBTS gets enough to cover their orders. :redface

wow glad i pre-ordered mine ages ago when it was first announced http://www.xybertoys.com/catalog/default.php this is the place i got mine but their really over priced for US collectors (given the exchange rate) but its free shipping

but personally if i could get a regular one with out feeling totally ripped off id go for it but alas that ait going to happen

Same here. No response at all. I tried to keep the e-mails a simple as possible, but just no reply or anything.

However, I haven't pre-ordered the figure with US stores since it's probably cheaper to get them from e-bay seller in Japan. Am still waiting for that.

(Or maybe I'll follow the link Blitz gave. Will be cheaper for me then going to US stores, but still expensive.)

I could've sworn I saw a BT-18 preorder listed somewhere when I was searching for MP-06 preorders (I eventually went with HLJ), but it was something like $100, which is absurd for an unpainted plastic toy. I also found this place, which seemed cheap but I've never heard of it before:

Does anyone know if they're reputable? I assume shipping is horrendous to offset the low cost of the figure.

they are out of hong kong - so who knows. They don't list a phone number either under their contact info, but they do list a fax#. I don't tend to trust companies that avoid giving phone contact info.

They do not list a BT-18 at that location either. They do list many 'sold out' items like MP-4, MP-5, etc - so if they carried the BT-18 and he was sold out, I think they would still have it listed. But it is no where on their site.

Yes, the Mirage's average cost on preorders was just under $100. I was on the fence about it for a long time, because I really didn't care for the clear plastic look OR the fact it was ehobby either. The longer I have let it soak in tho, I figured WTH - since it is not a BTA or KISS line, but since it was labeled as a BT. The 'completist' in me was taking over. I might have to get some KY-Jelly and watch ebay - but I'm hope'n there will be another batch coming after a few months. I'll just sit back and wait if need be.

I have started a thread earlier on what most consider the LAST in the BT line - given the recent announcement to the end of the ALT and BT series. It seemed MOST consider the BT-17 Nemesis Prime the FINAL one in the series.

I am just curious why the PREORDERS sold out so quick, and there doesn't seem to be any news yet of when it will be available retail or otherwise. If it's going to be a limited edition, I'd understand it - but wish they would have advertised it as such. The fact it costs so much has me wondering - unless it's just an ehobby thing, and they are charging more and releasing them slowly. Anyone more familiar with ehobby's business methods or have info on whether Mirage will be available a few months doesn the road - i'd appreciate the insight. :)
