It bothered me some, but not that much. The one thing that does bother me is the constant use of "sir" in every other sentance out of anyone's mouth. I get that they are supposed to be in a war and Optimus and Megs are in charge, but all the time?

Its kinda translation as well. In Super Link, Megatron is refered to as "Galvatron sama" with sama being a sign of respect so sir is the closest eqviliant to that. Its also important as Shockblast never calls him "Galvatron sama" but just "Galvatron" so the dub shows that by him call Megatron just Megatron (note Megatron's comment about Shockblast's disrespectfulness)

Normally I can live with them, but from what I've heard about Demolisher's death...

What did they change? I'm curious. I haven't seen the superlink version of that.

The Energon ep had Demolishor knock Megatron out of the path of the ship's Energon shield, taking the brunt of it and being reduced to what appeared to be his Spark, which Megatron grabbed and held in his fist.

What did Superlink show?

Nah, they didn't change the animation. But from what I heard, in Energon Ironhide said: "Retreat! Back to the ships!" and in Superlink they said: "NOOOO!!! DEMOLISHER!!!" As soon as I've completed the torrent, I'll check it out.

On Superlink, Energon's Ironhide was upset by Demolisher's destruction, but on Energon they masked it. Instead of saying "everyone get in the ship" he really yelled out, Ironhide!!!!(on superlink Demolisher is called Ironhide if you don't know) and was also draged into the ship. I dont look at the what the characters are saying as errors I look at it as the Americans writers taking the story in a different direction for American kids/fans. Once American writer get a script Dub they have to decide what would work with an American audience and then what ever they change they have to roll with it. I'm not sure if any of you watch Pokemon but listening to the director commentary on their DVD's some of the stories and characters once they get them are totally changed.

Which episode was Hotshot's blaster in Optimus' chest?

Did anyone notice, in the flash back of Rodimus, that a robot the looked Like bumblebee was standing next to Rodimus? Also robots that looked like G1 Redalert, and G1 Ironhide.

You know what's funny about that? I could still tell that E. Ironhide was sad to see Demolisor bite the dust. It's all in the facial expressions. Their faces still displayed the emotion that was originally conveyed in the dialogue of the Superlink version. If that was all they changed, I think I'm okay with that.

Yep, I noticed that too. Like the G1 'easter eggs' in Armada.

I don't really care about the errors....to me there are more fundamental problems such as a very poor character design and very odd comedic elements that serve only to hurt the overall experience of watching Energon.

I completely agree w/ya Snowman! What is up with these bright paintjobs? Sheesh. :wtf
