ya rly, the Movie designs were awesome, and in fact, they are pretty much my favorite designs of any of the transformers so I'm glad they took whatever steps they took.

If this is to bash the movie designs... meh.

Well I really enjoyed the movie alot. Even though I myself am not still a big fan of many of the movie designs. Only ones I liked was Prime and Jazz. However I still liked the movie alot! But that being said I have not been eager to buy much of the movie toys. The only character from the movie I have bought so far is Robovision Prime. I got non movie characters Longview & Laserbeak ones. Just waiting for G1 deco Jazz, Payload ( in order to kitbash), maybe Longarm, and one or two of the Replicas.

 

I get the whole concept that they are alien, and okay maybe having a human like face wouldn't work for a live action movie. But maybe they could have gone a different way with the designs mosltly in the heads.

 

When BB put his battle mask on. I saw it as a major improvement, and IMO he should of looked like that the whole movie. His face looked less "busy" and complete.
