'74 Movie Bumblebee

Sunstreaker!!

He's taller than his brother in Robot Mode, but smaller in Car Mode. Weird.

The hardest part is going to be carving the "ears" into Cl. BB's head... :redface

(*Classics Sideswipe was made by Sculpt-Bot over at the TFW2005 boards...)

lovely. Wish he was available in the shops.

Not bad... Only one problem though....

Sunstreaker would never be caught dead as a Camaro with his extreme vanity :07laugh

The angular form of the '74 fits the Classics Hot Rod base of Sideswipe better than the "electric shaver with wheels" of the '08. I prefer '08 robot mode better, but god, that's such an ugly effing car. And too rounded for this project.

Oh, well. He'll have to deal with it on my shelves!!

I think classics bumble bee might be a bit too chubby and happy as a base for sunstreaker. But that's just my opinion. Just make sure you have enough space for the hood to flip over it, so he can transform.

I won't have to do this since Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are confirmed classics for the Classics 2.0/Universe line this fall/winter.

I just heard that too. I might not do it either, now... :redface

I'm happy, though. Classics got me back into TFs, and I was major bummed when I heard they were dead.

Wow. You design some outrageous things Tenime.

The great thing is how well they work.

If they weren't releasing these two bad boys in Classics 2.0 I would definetly have a good go at making em like this!

I like the heads. They're very toon acurate, which can be quite hard to acheive.

I actually bought the OTFCC '03 Sideswipe & Sunstreaker for my classics, and then Hasbro made their announcement. *shrug* what can ya do?
