Interesting theory. Kinda makes you wonder. I believe the recovery of the all-spark was the Deceps main objective. I'm sure SS was secretly hoping that Megs would remain frozen in human captivity forever. I think Frenzy took it upon himself to free Megs only when the opportunity presented itself. I'll be looking forward to the reunion between Megatron and Starscream in the next films. It will be interesting to see who leads the salvage mission to recover Megs.

From what I remember, the :Dc's were looking for information on both Megatron and the Allspark from the beginning (Blackout's attack in Qatar). Although they did only do the Decepticon Roll Call when they discovered the location of the Allspark...

 

I do have a feeling that Starscream is going to have zero interest in reviving Megatron :schin it will be interesting to see how that all unfolds.

I wish there was more of Starscream in the movie. Just because the TF have be in disguise within the movie doesn't mean that the audience should be left out of it.

From a G1 fan standpoint, I can understand that. But if you just look at the characters themselves (and what they turn into) and the progression of the story, I think it makes sense that Starscream wouldn't show up until later. I mean, he's a ginormous robot who turns into an F-22. How are you going to use that in the movie? It has to be during a "big" part of the movie, because he's a big guy and he's not exactly going to be able to troll Sam's neighborhood looking for glasses.

Well he did have a few lines... which is more than Bonecrusher and Brawlastator got. But you know, they're all huge guys, not police cars or radios etc.

I just watch through the dreaded Pirated download that dude posted here (he's probably banned now lol) I say that it's pure speculation that Screamer attacked Megs. He did however, group himself with the fleet before they took the camera off him so maybe it will come up later.
