I doubt its a new Godzilla movie. I think theyll leave him buried for a while longer.

The roar was definitely more King Kong than Godzilla. Actually sounded a bit like the Spino from Jurassic Park 3 only more growly.

so uh yea. a BUNCH of awesome trailers with transformers. the theater laughed at the rock movie but i wasn't entertained.

Saw the trailer myself a couple days ago when I went to see TF with a few friends. Have to say, it really got me thinking....Could'nt be a new Godzilla flick. Some people are thinking it could be the Voltron movie.....Maybe it's a whole new giant monster movie altogether. Was still an intresting explosion though.....Would like to see a decent quality trailer of it again but Youtube fails. Speaking of Giant Monster movies, when was the last time america even made a Giant Monster movie? I really don't count Kong that much really...

Hotrod got some pretty big laughs.

 

Looks great but unfortunately those were probably all the laughs to be had in the entire movie. Hates when they do that.

I'll bet my momma's oatmeal it's not Godzilla, King Kong, Voltron, or any of the ghey suggestions anyone's throwing out there. The suspense/viral aspect was done too well for the movie to be anything so obvious. If it were, it would proudly announce "HI, I'M A GODZILLA MOVIE" because that kind of character sells itself (btw I thought the first Godzilla movie was great) without having to work at it being something people should get inquisitive over.

And "CLOVERFIELD" is a ridiculous name for a movie about Godzilla or Voltron. WTF? Where is anyone getting Voltron from anyway? Why can't this just be an original monster movie? Maybe the "whoa" part of this movie isn't that it's "some famous monster property" but that it's being shot entirely as an eyewitness-style film with home video cameras.

:pfx with DN, where people got the idea it was Voltron We'll never know.

Anyway I doubt Voltron will be getting a movie anytime soon, with Transformers the way it is the benchmark for giant robo movies has shot way up. Unless they seriously change everything about Voltron its gonna get laughed at.

The two girls are the same girl, if you line up the faces where it cuts off on the edges its almost a perfect match, except for the teeth.

Hoping it's a new giant monster movie really.

Rumor has it that it may be Cthulu or some other Lovecraftian type monster.
