its like viral marketing, and looks like it might be Blair Witch meets 9/11 + added awesome.

I saw that trailer too. After it was over everyone was in stuned silenced untill someone spoke up and said "What is it?!" my response was "Good question!"

Despite the fact that I felt ripped off by not knowing the name of the movie after seeing the trailer, it did spark my interest enough to do research on the movie to find out what it was called. So in a way I guess it was good marketing.

I only have one thing to say at this point:

Spider-pig!

That look cool! But this roar had a more of a King Kong or Hulk sound. The statue head had claw marks on it, when it landed.

My buddy and I thought it sounded more like Godzilla.

Godzilla roar or scream sounds different, this roar has a deeper sound. Godzilla's is higher pitched.

LOL. Right after the trailer I was asking my friend if he knew what the movie was, and this guy in front of us said it was "Bad Robot" :tflaugh

I guess he saw JJ's production house logo and assumed that was the title of the movie. Idiot.

did u guys see this trailer? (link to handcam youtube).

when i saw it, i was like "holy Blotballs". it got me from the opening shot, esp with the handcam style. that roar, the cars flying... everyone Blotting their pants... it was the craziest 2 mins ive seen. its being dubbed "cloverfiled" and its directed by JJ Abrams (LOST fame).

Some say its a LOST movie. Others, a new Godzilla movie. Or maybe even a remake of Parasyte.

Anyways, just wondering if anyone out there knows more about it... or even what they think this movie is gonna be about.

I doubt its a new Godzilla movie. I think theyll leave him buried for a while longer.

The roar was definitely more King Kong than Godzilla. Actually sounded a bit like the Spino from Jurassic Park 3 only more growly.

Monsters are cool.

I will defer to your superior knowlege of giant lizards.
