There are Too many Whiny Fleshies on Energon. That is the sole reason why Beast Wars is the single Bast TF show ever.

Umm, one? That isn't even really that whiny, just PO'ed?

Kicker is a seriously messed up kid, but I pretty much blaim his father. I do think that they put it in a tad to much.

Yeah, Beast Wars was the most loved TF show in my area ever. Everyone couldn't wait to see the next episode.

i agree that my my first transformers show i ever saw and is the greatest next to energon :thumb

All that Kicker flashback crap is just a poor copy of Gene Starwind's flashback scenes in Outlaw Star. Let's see hmm....a young kid, check, a father, check, and space, check. Outlaw Star ripoff, and he still sucks.

Not having seen Outlaw Star, I'm not exactly sure what comparisons can be made. Do Outlaw Star's scenes cumulate in the character's intense fears of being alone, and frustration and anger for being seen as nothing but a tool? If so, then we can talk ripoff. If not, same setup, different outcome. So? It's like saying Alien is a ripoff of Star Trek because they start with a crew of people onboard a spaceship :roll.

I'm used to character-driven drama in anime, so I quite welcome Kicker in adding a different element to the series.

I only see a character like Kicker to be unrealistic because he wants in to the battles when he's hoplessly out of his league. If your not a major force then stay the hell outta the way is how I see it. Having him run around with a Meg sword bigger than him is stupid also. Those Battle Ravages would have shred him into hamburger.

It could be worse, it could be the kids from Armada hogging up screentime. From what I've seen so far, Kicker takes up way less screentime and is much more useful.

Not having seen Outlaw Star, you have no idea what you are talking about.
