At first I have been skeptical about Armada and Energon, but I have to admit I was wrong. Energon is really cool. When Megatron came back and beat the sh*t out of Scorponok, that was hard as hell. Energon is great except for a few things.

 

Kicker.

 

Yeah, he sucks. Every time I see him he is blabbering on about something that no-one cares about. Am I the only one who notices that the whole flashback crap with his father is an Outlaw Star ripoff? Gene Starwind, excuse me, Kicker?

 

Anyway, if I saw Kicker in real life I would beat the sh*t out of him. The Autobots in general are really lame on Energon. I root for the Decepticons now. If I was a Decepticon I would step on Kicker

Energon has a sh@t load of potential. The new Megatron, Starscream, and Scorponok make the show. The Decepticons are gettin' the job done. The only gripes I got are that dork Kicker, Ironhides personality, And the Optimus truck mode. The toy just looks all wrong.

I have to say that he can be a bit on the annoying side at times, but Kicker is definately an improvement over the Armada kids.

The Autobots in Energon also sh*t all over Demolisher and then wonder why he left. He was a Decepticon and lived for battle so what do the Autobots do, PUT HIM ON GUARD DUTY.

Not true, Kids are able to relate better because of the human element in the story. Seems to work on a psycological level in getting the kids like it more. Its better than reducing Transformers to piloted robots like in Gundam which kids eat up.

 

 

You like it because they are transformers, we as an adult fandom like it because they are transformers but kids might like it because of totally different reason and they could see as just another big robot show. The show designers are trying to get kids attention with a kid they can relate to that so happens to be involved with transformers.

Well Keep in mind that you have to have some human character in there, I mean I dont like G1 spike but you dont hear people bashing him. But hey thats just my opinion.
