For those of you who have been longing for Pepsi Optimus Prime but did not fork over the money for Takara's version, or do not think you are lucky enough to win it in the "Transform Your Summer" sweepstakes, you may be in luck. Hasbro, Inc. is saying today that you will be able to purchase the figure at BotCon 2007, which is officially beginning today (keep checking TFormers this weekend for continuous BotCon coverage!). Not going to BotCon? Well, "limited quantities" will also be available on HasbroToyShop.com.

I paid like $35 for a takara one at comicon last year.

I'm ready!

since the takara one is often seen on sale im not going to fuss over it.... plus i got 1

Is it going to be a different art on the box???

ultraprime, not different from the one you can win from mt. dew, but VERY different from the takara version (MUCH better JMO)

meh, i wouldn't pay over $20 for him, although i've been trying to win one from mt. dew for a long damn time. supposed to be 100 winners a day now they're selling them online? how many of those damned things did they make?

i never heard of the mt dew contest

I haven't won yet :tfsad

Oh well, I really don't need another, maybe I guess, I dunno.
