If Grimlock and Swoop is part of the Energon line and they're going to be in the Ultra size, they will have Powerlinx features, most likely with each other.

Grimlock and Swoop are being sold in a mega ($20) two pack set. From the protos, it looks as though Grimlock would be about the size of a deluxe (possibly a bit larger), and I could see what looks like a hinge on his torso (for his PLX connectors).

 

I have no idea what PLX deal they might be doing with Swoop (given his unusual wing design, he may be some kind of weapon/utility pack)

Sounds like a red-cog combiner (e.g. Landmine and Bulkhead) at the Mega price point.
