Well I like the ideas for the figs. Being that this is a kitbash section. I think a person should be able post a project they did and just get opinion about his work. Not start a whole stupid movie vs previous versions debate, we have other places to post that junk.

 

If the guy wants to turn a figs head around and make a new face, that hes choice. No need to walk in and try to ruin what that person likes, just because you don't like it.

 

 

One thing is saying "Hey it doesn't look like a face, maybe you should add some paint or cut this part or something"

 

than saying "Movie designs rule, and what you did sucks. No way that looks like a face"

 

 

Same token, the melodrama is getting old now. Some are just overeacting and being to defensive.

Or just simply say "I don't like it but nice try". Smith was feeling the need to lock this because of different movie views. When all the guy who started this topic wanted to show what he did. But immediately the whole movie design debate started here.

Although the toys are radically simplified versions of the actual movie bots. The only kind of G1 face that would make me instantly recoil is a "full face". That would be wrong, and I'd have to put it down.

I LOVE the new Swindle head!!! Bravo.

Can part of his crest be shaved/filed down so it doesn't drag?

 

Also, as mentioned in an above post, I painted the back of my Ironhides head. And LOVE it.

 

Yeah I'd say you could shave down his head a bit so it wouldn't drag. I'm not actually keeping this head on him, I just did it cuz I knew a few fans wanted to see swindle with a different head so viola!

 

I couldn't leave my Landfill incomplete like that either, especially cuz I'm gonna sell it

guys guys guys. what's happening here? everybody grab a beer. smoke'm if you gottem. everybody pick up a toy (not that one, he's mine) and if we're gonna fight lets join forces and channel that at something more productive. Like let's ask hasbro to release model kits of the classic guys. wouldn't that be great? and it would cost them very little to make.
