What I've done is the swindle neck mod and added some cuts around his collar to give his head a lot more articulation.

 

 

I also tried a new head, which comes from RID Hightower, with some added silly putty to make it stay. In car mode the head hits the ground but the wheels just barely roll too.

 

 

Lastly I turned Ironhides head around and found that it makes a pretty decent looking new head. What do you think?

 

Whoops I didn't know someone else already found the "second" face on on Ironhide yet, and it was like a week ago... d'oh. Still I think it makes a great movie Soundwave head

One person's super-detailed head is another's super-ugly head. Personally I cannot stand the movie toys, largely because of the faces.

Can part of his crest be shaved/filed down so it doesn't drag?

 

Also, as mentioned in an above post, I painted the back of my Ironhides head. And LOVE it.

I personally think the movie faces got so "detailed" they were over done and got to a point where a lot of them don't look like faces anymore, but that's just my opinion

Thanks for all the comments and crits guys. Too bad some people want to bring the movie debate into everything, but whatever. I personally like Ironhides head as it is I just thought it would be cool to show off a discovery I previously thought hadn't been found yet.

Being part of this fandom really bites sometimes. Some people are such jerks. I might just stop posting all together and go back to lurking. I might just sell off everything and try to forget about TFs altogether. Better yet I'll become a scalper and screw over the fans even more instead of trying to add the fun
