2 ) He's a semi-cab. Not a gorilla, not a fire truck, and not a... well, 'flying combat fire truck', whatever the heck that is (Cyb/GF Prime, I'm looking at you).

 

3 ) He doesn't combine with anyone for "MORE POOOWWWAAAAAAAH!". He kicks but on his own, he don't need no stoopid Sonic Wing or Savage Claw mode

Yeah, he may have flames, and be a long-nosed cab, but he's closer to a purist's idea (and in many ways the image the general public has of Optimus Prime, as opposed to the fans) than what we've been given since G2.

Rationalizing personal taste is senseless.

Perhaps, I was just sayin' that at least he ain't got a "SUPAAAAH MOOOOOODE!" or nonsense like that. :P

 

And while I don't really like the actual in-movie design overall, I must admit I quite like the Robovision Voyager Prime. But, that's a discussion for another part of the forum.
