what is "green stuff"?

It's a sort of mouldable modeling compound sold by games workshop, usually it is used for small detailing on warhammer and other small models, on a larger scale it becomes more difficult to sculpt but if worked properly it can prove to be very good.

even though i consider this project finished i may make some chanes to make him more magnusy and less like powered convoy

Finally a real ULTRA Magnus. :tfgrin

Hi. Hey you ever tried "Milliput" modelers putty? You mix two parts putty together and nead them until the color becomes uniform, then you can mold it and shape anyway you want. You have a bout 3-4 hours working time on it before it starts to set. Then after it dries you can trim it with a hobby knife and smooth it too. Not trying to discredit your green stuff, just wanted to throw out there what i use and have had great success with.-Wm

Personally i find "green stuff" far superior to miliput, its easier to work with & has a smoother finish.

Worth trying.

Here's an example of green stuff at its finest.
