I went out about 30mins before the first of our two toy stores closed, expecting no new toys.

I saw only the protoforms, and they had lots of stuff there, so I asked the lady, and she was like "Did you see these?" and I was like OMGLOL TOYS!

I was pleasantly surprised that even in this small "town" in this lame country had gotten the toys :D

Bought Voyager Starscream and Deluxe Barricade. Cost me ~$80 bucks lol so maybe more another day.

They even had the plushes (smaller than I thought), robot heroes, and legends :D

hmmm, I woke up today 6:00 am and got to my local walmart, when i arrived at the toy aisle, they were still stocking the shelves! I got ironhide, ratchet, bubmlebee and jazz..... where was optimus? ><; there was a guy looking at the toys and i said to him "hey, you looking for transformers too?" we start talking and he says he is looking for prime too, he then shows me wave1 prime LEADER CLASS!! but i was confused by him, cuz he said he was looking for another prime >.> maybe the voyager version?

 

anyways, there was not that much people, all of them were scalpers, cuz when i talked to them, they had no idea of transformers and they were after prime and megatron leaders. Though, there was a old lady looking for the toys for his grandson lol!

 

so, since i was missing voyager prime, i went to the target nearby. OMG, he was there! my haul for this weekend is now complete! funny thing was, i saw the old lady again, still looking for megatron lol. the only people i saw there was hotwheel fans.

 

last, i went to the TRU opening an hour early. Went there and they had tons of transformers! no megatrons though. and i noticed they had two types of optimus voice-changer helmet, one with Peters voice and the another with Optimus Primal's voice. and..... i met the old lady again, this time she told me she found megatron at another target lol. oh, and it was empty, no people at all, then i saw more hotwheel fans lol >.>

 

I dont think people will have a hard time getting toys, i hope everyone gets what they want! GOOD HUNTING!

Well, I can confidently say that June 2nd was indeed a solid date- two local Targets were filled to the brim with movie toys.

 

However, I still have a war story:

 

First Target I went to had absolutely NO Robovision Primes. So, I ask clueless employee number one about the figure, and he sends me to the customer service desk. Customer service lady stares at me like I'm crazy and sends me off. I ask for today's ad (knowing there's a picture of Robovision Prime in it for reference)- nothing. I stand in the toy aisle until another employee comes along. I ask him to check in the back. He calls a higher ranking lady on the walkie-talkie and asks her. "All of our Transformers toys are out on the shelves. I've never heard of that toy before." I tell her to check the Target website- the Transformers page has Robovision Prime as being in stores today. She says back curtly, "There's a lot of things on the website that we don't get in stores."

 

I'm furious now. I leave that Target and drive over to another Target. I'm beginning to doubt myself at this point, wondering if Robovision Prime is supposed to be released today.

 

I arrive at the second Target and go into the toy aisle. On an endcap are about ten Robovision Primes in all their glory, right underneath a shelf of Unleased Bumblebees. I triumphantly picked up my desired movie Prime and "rolled out."

 

I just know the first Target had boxes of Robovision Primes in the back room, too.

 

Anyway, I'm enjoying my Robovision Prime immensely right now. Great figure. I really missed the complexity in Transformers figures- transformations haven't been this involved and precise since Beast Wars.

so i had to take the dog to the vet today and on the way over i was a bit early so i stopped at the other walmart... ZOMG!!! sooooo much tf goodness. i picked up blackout. i want them all though, well maybe not all, but i want so many.

 

also, anybody see the bb/barricade 2 pack? shoulda waited to get them both!! it's only 14.99 i think. wow barricade looks great! can't wait to get him from hts

 

 

Hm i passed on that cause the wally i looked at had it priced for $24.99 (But i have bb and barricade anyways).

I'm upset. The boys and I were all psyched up to get some new movie TFs. We head to our local Wal-mart and NADA, zip, zero, zlich, not a single toy, beyond the protoforms that have been there for a month. Asked an "ass"ociate, she said they put all toys on the shelves as soon as they get them (yeah right). I will have to wait until tomorrow when we have plans in a larger town. :(

I went to Wal-Mart last night with my son... they had a bunch of stuff out and they were still stocking the shelves. I picked up Starscream for myself, and I've really fallen in love with him. He's absolutely fantastic. I've now lost any and all desire for a G1-colored MP Starscream (or the original version either). If all the movie toys are like this, we're in for a real treat this summer.

 

Now I don't feel so bad for being sich a fanboy about this guy. Gotta say though, ironhide impressed me just as much.

Weird, my local Wally had it price marked as 9.99.

 

 

The 2 pack ?

Around here (So. Orange County, CA) each of the three chains stores had toys the other two didn't have, not just the store exclusives. I found NO Deluxe movie figures at TRU or Target (two Targets, actually) just those damn Preview figures and the FABs. Wal-Mart however, had tons of Deluxe Class and the 3" Titanium movies figures (I know, a lot of people don't like the 3" line, but I do & movie Prime's pretty damn cool.) Neither Target had any Voyager Class, not even the Robo-Vision Optimus.

 

I ended up buying the Legends Class Bumblebee, Jazz & Barricade at TRU (Barricade is AWESOME, btw. He's got full hip, knee & foot articulation & is molded in a sort of ready-to-pounce mode.) Bought Deluxe Jazz & 3" Titanium Optimus at Wal-Mart, and was kinda sad to see the Barricade/Bumblebee 2-pack for $16.99. I had no idea about this pack & had already bought Barricade a week ago at a Target.

 

I'm expecting there to be a bit of a problem finding Deluxe Class initially, mostly since the clerks I talked to (and one manager at TRU) were sure they'd put everything out, which was Deluxe Preview figures... and FABs. After a few minutes trying to explain the difference between the 3 types, I gave up & went to Wal-Mart. I don't blame them so much as Hasbro though. I'm not even sure what the point of the FABs is, unless it's to provide a $10 Starscream.

Target sucked... no robovision, but he'll be out monday, and I got mostt everything I wanted today. The stuff I didn't get can wait until a few weeks from now - I'm broke!

Made the drive into Winnipeg expecting absolutely nothing. Hit TRU shortly before lunch & holy Blot it was Starwars ep 1 all over again only this time with Transformer toys.

 

I had no problem restraining myself from buying everything. I did walk out with Ratchet, Blackout, Barricade, Bumblebee, & Blackout.

 

Prime I later bought at Zellers for a little cheaper.

 

Definitely worth the wait. :thumb

Only hit the TRU near me (Long Island, NY) and they has a gigantic wall of stuff right when you walked in.

 

And then the power went out. It wasn't a super big deal, there was enough light to see everything in the front of the store.

 

I picked up Deluxe Swindle, Bonecrusher, and Jazz, Voyager Ironhide and Starscream (the only one they had out). All the other Deluxe's I had on order from hasbrotoyshop.

 

Only Leader Optimus, no Megs around, but they really had a TON of everything else, but not a single Barricade out... glad I have him ordered.
