Botcon is now sold out of the unboxed sets as well.

 

But I still am willing to pay the below price.

 

If you are willing to do this, I will pay $220 for the loose set. $320 IF you also get the attendee and hotel exclusives THAT YOU DON'T WANT* OR $320 for the boxed set alone

 

*that is, if you attend the 'con

minor FYI. Please, if you have or are going to purchase another set, for the sole intention to sell regardless, then regard me as a customer to one of you. If you're only going to get the set as a favor, you could get stuck with it if someone makes a better offer than you...

Protoform Packages are still available and there will be General Admission for BotCon on Saturday and Sunday.

What are the hotel and attendee exclusives?

I posted my own plea for help but I don't think anyone is gonna help.

 

Too many seekers (nice pun eh!) and not enough buyers.

 

Not to mention, of those who bought the 2 sets, some will keep the bagged set to open but a great deal of them will probably end up on ebay which I think will go sky high. That's what really makes me sick about the policy cuz I'm sure some people will end up with what was or nearly a free box set out of the deal.

 

Think about it, they are pandering to scalper community every bit as much as they are the collectors as well. How many true collectors are being shut out by scumbags who see an opportunity to make a nice profit.

 

It's not even so much the overpricing that pisses me off as bad right now. It's the pain they are to order, not to mention it's a system I don't really trust so much. I'd have to pray that the thing went through ok and nothing gets lost in the shuffle or something.

 

More than anything else though, it's the way this all went down that REALLY gets me angry.

 

Over the past few years we had plenty of time to look over the figures and make our decision, save our money and place our order. This year, the con is 2 months earlier leaving almost no time for people like me who WAS planning on buying them, but everything happened so much faster than I thought so I just couldn't make it in time.

 

If I knew things were gonna be so quick, I would have held off on some of the other purchases I made and I would have been able to place an order.

 

IT SUCKS!!!

What are the hotel and attendee exclusives?

 

 

Unfortunately, no one knows yet. Possibilities are the Alpha Trion figure we saw a few days ago, other possibilities are characters seen in the comic, which could be Huffer, Elita-1, or Springer.

if any attendees are getting the at-con exclusives but don't want the Springer, i'd be interested.

The problem is you can only get a bagged set if you bought a boxed set. Then only one bag set per boxed set purchased. So you can't buy one boxed set and 10 bagged sets or else those would probably have been wiped out first.
