My suprise of the Energon line has been the basics.  I didn't realize how much I missed that size class.  The Omnicons are great and the Terracons are equally as cool.

Their articulation is what kills me. I have Skyblast highkicking Divebomb, with DB trying to block his kick. It's a pretty cool little scene.

To say I was surprised with the basic's is an understatement, more like blown away. :)

the basics killed me

strong arm and skyblast are really nicely articulate, and starscream is just the 'con

Well, Cruellock should be in my Terror con army...

They dont look like they have much articulation...BW and BM had more.

They aren't too good...Only Starscream, Cruellock, Divebomb, Prowl, rodimus, the omnicons and, well, that's it...

Snowcat isn't to bad either.

I sure BW/BM had better articualtion(haven't bought one), but coming off Armada, the Energon fig's are little posable gods. :)

A pleasant surprise for me was Ironhide. Initially, I saw pictures of him and thought him to be too "playskoolish", and the whole idea of the head sticking out in vehicle mode was just wrong. However, after getting the figure, I love how it looks, and the head sticking out doesn't bother me at all. I like the chunky look of him in vehicle mode, and his robot mode is excellent, in terms of articulation and proportioning. He looks a TF Superman in those colours too. My only complaint is that he doesn't come with a weapon to hold, and you have to buy a basic sized Energon figure in order to get an Energon weapon or the Energon Sabre for him.

I must post again about my Starscream. My favorite transformer.

Same here, opend up Ravage, Skybast and Strogarm and there really neat to play with expecially Ravage defiantly better then I expected. From what you guys have siad will definatly be pickup of the rest of them. :thumb

:tflaugh I forgot to mention Starscream. I hunted him down for about two weeks before I got him here in Saginaw. I also had Scorpy which was also a neat one. My only complaint about scorpy is the limited movement of the arms in robot mode. Other than that he is one kick @$$ tf.

I was really impressed with the way Rapid Run got a 'bot or 'con symbol depending on which minicon was attached.

(I know he's just a repaint of Sideways, but I never got tha one, so I get to use it for this thread. BWAH HA HA HA!)

i saw the review on him but he can't switch to bot or con like sideways could but can still combine the heads

my suprise would be starscream and scoponok and megatron

starscream cause of his huge blade and articualtion

scoponok with his srcopion mode and his big robot mode looks cool

megatron cause his robot mode is cool hope he has his sword

I CAN'T WAIT FOR ENERGON TO COME HERE IT HAS TO CAUSE ARMADA WAS HERE SO IT MUST!!!!!!!
