eBay Bans Unmarked Megatron Gun Toys

Recommended Posts

Good lord....

E-Bay is complying with U.S. toy laws and all of a sudden they are the bad guys? If you ask me they were wrong to not regulate what they had on their site before this.

As for the international issues....if you do not like then do not use e-bay. Go find another service that caters to what you need so you don't have this issue. E-Bay is an American company and can chose to do its business any way it chooses.

Yeah, they are the bad guy, especially when it comes to the vintage G1 Megatrons. MP Megatron is three times the size of a real gun, is silver plastic (the real P-38 only comes in black metal), can fire nothing, and transforms into a humanoid robot.

eBay is just trying to help everyone understand that tank > gun.

:tflaugh Way to get the conversation off-track Pete. :tflaugh

*On that note. I'm glad we got gun MP Megs, but I also hope that we see tank MP Megs somewhere down the line*

Yeah, and people will Starscream about it once Takara makes a realistic tank that's "too hard to transform".

Scale doesn't matter in the law....

...and your issue is with the Law, not with E-Bay who is supposed to comply with it as much as BBTS and other retailers do.

E-Bay is doing the right thing in the eyes of the law.

Where do you guys come up with this crap? Do a couple ebay searches right now. There are G1 Megatrons and Masterpiece ones for sale. Why do you people find the need to make crap up.

Wow....

You are right.

Call off the lynching.

Guys, guys... you're missing the REAL solution to this.

Paint your REAL firearms' barrel tips "Blaze Orange". Then the toys will still match!:D
