I think the silence comes from typing hands pinned under jaws hitting the floor. ILM hit a new landmark for CGI with this one. Who can complain about Prime now that we see him in full daylight and how he fits the classic colors. Bonecrusher just looks vicious.

Oh, Prime looks fantastic. I can't wait to see these guys on the big screen. What this movie does for fanboys is like what Jurassic Park did for Archaeologists.

Well put. I know this sounds dumb but that frame pretty much looks like someone took a picture of Optimus Prime fighting Bonecrusher on the freeway. If you showed it to someone who didn't know giant robots don't exist, they would believe you that they did.

Of course Jurassic Park did bring with it the backlash from Robert Bakker when he complained about the Velociraptors using their tongues like snakes did but they got their revenge and had a Bakker lookalike get scared by a snake and then eaten by T-Rex (thats what they call Karma punk). So If rule of backlash works, Transformers 2: More than Meets the Eye (my title for a sequel) an army of angry G1 obsessed jerks are gonna get splattered by a silver and blue striped semi truck trailer.

I think some people still expected cartoon, not total reality. Then there are others who I think might have just not be ready yet, even if they wanted to be. Some just think they are so Powerglideing awesome they can't stand it and I can agree to that.
