I thought he looked crap in the proto but now fully painted he looks kinda good. Still not sure about his eyes though.

Not terrible in either mode but there are two things I just can't get past.

 

From the beginning it's been why the hell are his windows painted, & why is his face black of all colors.

 

The proto used clear blue plastic & now for whatever reason Hasbros painted them silver. Why? Not to Outback but Armada Hotshot was one thing since Hasbro really didn't know how to make decent transformer toys for a while but this IMO is unexcusable. Everybody gets the clear window treatment except Bumblebee. I just don't get it.

 

If the 08 has painted windows as well I'm really going to be anoyed.

Who cares? he looks about a million times better than I expected him to, especially compared to the movie abortion - I think I'll be getting him come June: actually, are these things going to be out in Japan - it's unbelievably cheaper for me to get TFs off of Hobbylink Japan (including shipping!) than it is to buy them here in merry old England or order them from America. Go figure.

 

Probably get all the deluxes except for the ones where bowwww bow bow bow bowww of classic character designs makes them look like Gobots *cough*Facescream*cough*...
