I'm ready...but I ain't going to bother working up an enthusiasm for something that isn't going to start to begin thinking about happening for several months, and more likely never.

It would be nice, but Hasbro's has Classic's grave already dug and are just about ready to close the casket's lid.

Either that or they've found and sealed the leak. Keeping the protos from reaching ebay sellers. With the movie protos probably being watched better than the past ones were I bet they finally caught the people who have been leaking the protos to ebay. Which I think really stinks but I guess that's life as a leak huh? Anyway if my theory holds then we probably won't see too many more protos leaked in the next few months. If I'm wrong then good for those who have gotten away with bringing us preveiws of these great lines.

i don't think it'd be that easy to just stop all the leaks, i mean proto's pull a premium, esp before the retail version is released.

i wouldn't hold my breath, hasbro was pretty up front with us about classics being a filler line, i think somebody said maybe, but i really wouldn't rely on it.

let's see what happens after the movie. If we get a revised mission statement, then maybe we'll get more. We've still got the comics to run the Classics line with.

Too late for that. They decided to stop a long ass time ago. The line was planned for two waves only. They stretched it out to three by splitting up the Mirage/Grimlock and Ramjet/Cliffjumper releases, and they added the recoloured Constructicon Maximus. Done. Finito. Kaput.

 

Classics was a filler line with a finite timeframe, made to fill the 6-month gap between Cybertron and the Movie.

 

Perhaps some of the designs for characters that didn't make the cut might worm their way into Heroes and beyond, who knows?
