I would actually like a starscream as leader, but thye would have to make a good storyline for it to work. (i voted yes)

The diffrences between the comic and the cartoons is that you never felt as though their actually is a line somewhere in the story.

(line = aka 'the plot') one were you get to see the dynamics of the decepticons as a team rather than a bunch of idiots.

The comics have always added was in which you can get into the heads of the transformers and see how there minds work.

That is the kind of thing you would need if anyone else is to become 'the leader'. Linking to this you need to believe that the decepticons have the power to overthrow even the toughest leader (if he was mistreating them for example (below)

e.g. One of my favourite comic moments was during a period when Soundwave was leading the decepticons. It showed a section were he was talking to himself. He was having a dilema, his troops wanted to follow the autobots, but he didn't want to risk their lives either, but he realised that if he wanted to remain in control he needed to keep them happy so he relucently desides to follow the autobots to 'keep himself popular.

Its this kind of 'power play that interests me rather that the 'who can beat up who' (the cartoons) or 'who's clever enough to avoid getting slagged by his traitorous underlings' (beast wars.)

Should Starscream be the leader from now on?

No.
