What TF had the worst death?

Optimus' death near the end of the g1 comics was pretty gruesome.

You never even got to see what happened to him. Yeah Windcharger was there too but he was only in a handful of episodes. Wheeljack was a central character prior to TF:TM.

Beast Wars Scorponok and Terrorsaur. Their deaths were so anitclimatic it was rediculous. I didn't even know they were really dead till I didn't see them any more. That was so wild to me. I know Megs was an uncaring bastard but their deaths were only vaguely mentioned by Blackarachnia. Tarantulus was thrown into the lava and he didn't die. Infact Megs too.

you could always say something like "due to the instability of their mutating bodies at that moment, the trauma of the extreme temperature caused them to disintegrate" or some crap like that.
