I hope you do understand that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are in fact two different people. Peter Cullen impressed the hell out of Michael Bay during his audition, and Bay ended up giving him the part despite not being predisposed toward doing so beforehand. Nobody's said anything about Welker's audition publicly, so we don't know how that went.

Do you suppose the reason why there's no concrete info on Meg's voice-actor is because Megatron doesn't get any talking lines?

Megatron is THE Decepticon leader and the epitome of evil in TFs. he should ALWAYS be leading the decepticons, he's NOT some kind of "Ultimate doomsday monster"! he's fricken MEGATRON! if Bay wanted a Doomsday monster, he should have used Unicron. but Megatron should always be front and center!

Hugo Weaving would also be known as Lord Elrond from Lord of The Rings, or as "V", from V for Vendetta. And obviously Agent Smith from the Matrix.

I have to admit, I was all "Cullen and Welker" when the movie was first announced, but now I'm on to the point where I don't care anymore. I just hope they pick someone who fits the role. That's all I want.

The thing that I don't get is that this is so obviously not a G1 redux movie... why would people even want G1 voices in it?
