i dont remember what originally got me into collecting, but i know that armada red alert is the first one i bought when i got back into collecting, followed shortly by some of the Mega SCF figures

The first time I definitely made a purchase as a collector was when I bartered a Targetmaster Kup from a flea market vendor in Florida. He was selling about 6 Transformers together for $20, but I already had all of them except Kup, so I talked him into selling him to me alone for $7.

 

One of those beautiful finds where I actually got his Target master weapon with him, too... :tfgrin

When I got back into TF's in early 2002, my first TF was RID Megatron.

Back in the early 90s. G2 Jazz. Picked him up especially back then because my bro's favorite Bot was Jazz and we never got the original. In hindsight, I wish I got Sideswipe then also, I want that mold. And the rest of the G2 line I never got yet, I want them all now. Darn Laser Rods. ;)
