I'd do that to mine too... but if I'm too busy/lazy to finish the kitbashes I have on the work table, I'm damn sure too lazy to trim my hologram thingie. I never liked that sort of thing anyway.

i cut mine to fit with my paper cutter.

 

take 1/16 off both sides and 3/16 off the bottom.

 

fits like a glove.

And then you don't get to see the whole picture!!!

Well, I'm not really fit to comment since mine hasn't got here yet, but I think the problem with the cover is that it isn't really the cover, contrary to what we were told on the internets. You know, false advertising and all that.

if you haven't bought it yet, and a costco member, go get it there. $15, lenticular cover, AND a bonus dvd containing the pilot episodes with all new case art. i almost bought it again even though i have the box sets just because.

Yeah. That pissed me off. And it doesn't fit if you try to slide it under the cover and close the case.

I would much rather have had a silver cardboard case to match my G1 DVDs. Especially seeing as I have to put it in the middle of them for correct chronology.
