Transformers Live Action Movie Featurette

Recommended Posts

To me the featurette was pretty much...well, meh. It was cool to see more of Ratchet, BB, Barricade's vehicle modes, but still...meh. To me the best part was the storyboards that still showed nothing major.

Of course they won't give it all away in the trailer. Just enough for you to want to see it. Even if "wanting to see it" is because it looks cool, or for you to see how they did it wrong. Either way, they get your money!

I'd just like to mention that we still have not seen a trailer for this movie. We should have taken Bay at his word when he said the initial "Mars" one was an "announcement". Cuz that's what it was. No footage from the film, nothing to do with the plot of the movie, just "hey we're making a Transformers movie".

and BTW Hornet's constant CONSTANT ill-founded pessimism about this movie is making me want to skin small rodents alive with a broken piece of a dropped Fort Max.

^ That's funny. On many levels.

I find it funny that nobody's even mentioned that they probably don't have the ROBOTS inserted into the film yet being 9 months away. So we aren't going to see the robots for a while because we -can't-.

Well that's not entirely true since they built a BumbleBee for some scenes.

To a degree you are right, but by this point they'd certainly have to have wire-frame models ready for use...so that they'd at least be able to see how acting and reacting around those models will look and feel. Cause they'll need to adjust things as they go along.

That's why the biggest thing we saw are the wire-frame models and storyboards on the featurette.

seriously, i'm just worried that the movie is being undermarketed and that might cause the general populace to overlook it.

Why do you worry about things like this? A Michael Bay film produced by Steven Spielberg is going to be under-marketed? Dude, relax.

I love Youtube
