Looking at all pictures I have of him, it looks like it SHOULD be possible to pull of Some kind of gerwalk mode, his legs might be a lil wonky thou.

the legs only pull up to 90 degrees from the body and cant pull any further up the body, this makes it massively unbalanced.

It will never stand up on its own and the leg movement in "gerwalk" is akin to g1 optimus prime.

I've always wondered what people found appealing about the Gerwalk mode... I've always disliked it, because it always looked like a mistransformed Valkyrie...

Yeah, I don't get it either...

the video games put this mode to good use where it was balanced between fighter mode and battroid mode.... the fighter mode was the fastest and couldn't target baddies as fast, battroid mode was the slowest and could target everything with pinpoint accuracy, and the gerwalk mode had half the speed of fighter and have the shooting accuracy of battroid mode... gerwalk mode also made it easy to fly around and pick up chicks :tflaugh

Hey Jag, is there any way you could just post a pic of what it would look like in the since of why it wouldn't look right or why it won't work.

Maybe details of the leg issues and such.

This would give us a little more of a visual of why this won't work. We are all sort of "arm chair" engineers here and can still visualize possiblilities and maybe even doing a mod.

Thanks

From the picts so far I think it would work. Modded just a bit and if it has the same type ratcheted joints, I think we can see a pretty good Gerwalk mode. The only problem I see in this are the feet. They look as though they only open partially and can only stay stationary between rodot and vehicular modes.
