Recommended Posts

You broke 20th Prime? Even I was trying hard, I don't think I would be able to... weird.

My DVD version had one of the legs that would not retract. I pushed and even tried hitting it on the concrete floor (cushioned by carpet so it would not get scratched). Finally, I loosened some of the screws and it went in fine.

Hey people. I'm a noob, but a long time collector and lurker of this site. I need help with my MP04 Prime. PLEASE!! I passed on the Hasbro version because I didn't like the colors, base, stack, etc. So I thought by paying more than twice as much for the Takara version, that I'd receive superior quality.

I was wrong. I can't get Prime's left leg to retract so I can't transform him into the cab section. The right leg works great when you press the "gas tank" but it won't on the left. I can barely see a spring attached to the right, but not on the left. Prime is fresh out of the packaging and I handle all of my toys very carefully. I've never had to dissect a toy for any reason and I really don't want to start with such an expensive and valued piece.

Thanks for any help on this!!

Mike

Okay. I took his leg apart thinking I could resolve the problem this way. WRONG. I can't get at the "gas barrel" assembly even from the inside to address the issue of the leg unlocking so I have to take his freaking leg off everytime I want to transform him from bot to cab. The little clip on the inside isn't being depressed enough to unlock from the slot. I'm still hella pissed at myself for spending so much money on this "MASTERPIECE." Yeah....Master Piece of *#@$. I have all the ALTS and passed on all of the Binaltech, so this puts a very bad taste in my mouth where as I thought Takara versions would be far superior - I'm not buying MP whatever ever again.

It's not fun dissecting expensive toys. Has anyone else had to take their Prime apart. I mean aside from the leg issue, I think it's a fantastic toy.
