20th prime... broken

Recommended Posts

I think mine broke after falling off a 5.5 foot shelf about 10 times. Luckily a former Tfan just gave me his knee joint for free.

would anyone be willing to donate or trade for a 20th OP right foot?

not only did mine keep falling off, but it fell out of my car, and now its f*cking vanished.

How does it fall out of your car? That's like when I see a shoe laying in the street...I mean...how does that happen?

Yeah so what hasbro are saying is "f*off". Typical of a usa company though i have to say. F*k the customer over in every way, take all the money they can. I know it was the euro dept, but still has the same standards as the main branch.

Yey for japanese... they still treat ppl as humans and not money trees.

Got to love the big companies, when it comes to taking your money it's warp speed, but when it comes to helping the costumer, they hide behind all the red tape and excuses.

Saw 20th Prime in TRU on Monday, he looks alright, already got the MP Prime though. Only problems I've had with MP Prime of note are trying to get his rifle to actually stay in a hand without falling out.

well, after his foot broke, I stuck OP and his amputatde foot in the back seat of my Jeep.

I forgot he was there, and let my mom borrow the Jeep to pick up my grandma for Thanksgiving.

what I think happened was that my drunk ass gramma put all the food stuff in the back seat and just pusshed all my shtuff off to the side.

when I went back for OP, he was on the floor board, and his foot was no where to be found.

but it's cool. a couple of days ago, my man at walmart hooked me up with the new 20th OP that got smushed by a forklift.

I got a new foot.

and hasbros lazy ass totaly phoned in the paint app on the foot.

Good for you. Did you manage to fix your Masterpiece Optimus Prime, though?

Hey people. I'm a noob, but a long time collector and lurker of this site. I need help with my MP04 Prime. PLEASE!! I passed on the Hasbro version because I didn't like the colors, base, stack, etc. So I thought by paying more than twice as much for the Takara version, that I'd receive superior quality.

I was wrong. I can't get Prime's left leg to retract so I can't transform him into the cab section. The right leg works great when you press the "gas tank" but it won't on the left. I can barely see a spring attached to the right, but not on the left. Prime is fresh out of the packaging and I handle all of my toys very carefully. I've never had to dissect a toy for any reason and I really don't want to start with such an expensive and valued piece.

Thanks for any help on this!!

Mike

Is it me or is this new MP04 sounding like it's crap QA? I have the US 20th anni ver (with replaced stacks I got on eBay..metal full height ones :) ), and thus far I've found him to be robust and durable...mind you I've not yet dropped him.

simular to the first 20th aniv one i got (one that broke) had to REALLY REALLLYYY push hard on one of the gas tanks to make it release the lock. Even to the point of hurt thumbage.

I think with BOTH japanese and american/euro ones its hit and miss with em all. Some have been really unlucky with them.

Hope you resolve your issue!
