Tarantulas gets my vote.

After seeing Waspinator and Inferno blown to hell repeatedly and put back together i expected the same more or less for Tarantulas. Guess not. :tflaugh

Dinobot's epic death wasn't as shocking as it could have been. That shocker was spoiled almost the first month into joining the online fandom. :tfmad

Finally seeing it I actually found it kinda funny. Funny as it was his last stand and it felt almost too over the top. Kinda like Boromire in LOTR.

*wasnt a part of the internet fandom at the time* :thumb

And TM2 Dinobot's whole returning to Dinobot's personality was explained through the Never-Finished, but still considered Canon story of the episode (the name of the said episode escapes me)

Thanks.

His death never seemed over the top to me....I mean, it would have bene if he would have had his arm ripped off, and eye gouged out, and a bunch of other stuff happen before his death. But his death always seemed like it was handled just about perfect to me.

Well, if shocking is meaning sudden and unexpected, I'd have to go with Terrorsaur, because he was a fairly prominent character in season 1 and was offed in the first 10 seconds of season 2.

tigerhawk. He's introduced, then killed. BAM! he got, like, a total of 15 minutes of screen time.

My thoughts exactly.

I was like: "He's dead already!??!?!"

Dinobots death seemed kinda pathetic to me. We've seen bots take far greater damage then what Dinobot took and survive. Dinobot takes a few hits and he calls it quits. They should've beat him up some more then it would've been really cool.

I remeber when Tigerhawk blew up. I joined the online fandom shortly after and people were arguing that Tigerhawk didn't blow up, that he actually warped to a different dimension. I thought that was funny.

Dinobot. Not being a part of the fandom at the time helped to ensure that it would be shocking! :D

btw i totally thought inferno was dead at the end of the second season when that energon cave exploded. more or less rampage too. i thought him skulking out of the cave and a charred rampage peeling of the wall was neat. i was all COOL! THEYRE NOT DEAD!
